Newbie here, doing some research on different printers.

Curious what the average breakdown cost is for toner vs. ink per page for use in a CISS/CTSS system.

Also wondering if anyone has found a solution for close to $0.00125 per page.

What is the question - which printer - which ink - what are you printing - what is the aim of that evaluation ?
If you just print a small black dot on a page you would get to that number, and if you take cheap ink from China by the gallon you would get much lower, so it all depends on the ink/toner coverage on the page

I'm doing research looking for the most cost effective solutions for printing. This will be for printing text, small books/pamphlets. The standard 5% would be fine for page coverage.

'cost ' - what cost - running cost - total cost etc ? incl. amortization ? for which print volume ?
Just take a ball park number - a full page A4 sheet needs about 1ml of ink, with 5% and the pricing by ink suppliers you should get easily to the ink page cost.

Considering a ream of 500 A4 costs €3 for lousy and €5 for good quality (in small quantities), that's 0,01/page, it does not make sense IMO to search below that for the ink.
As good quality 3th part ink costs about €30-100/l, that's 0,03-0.10/A4 page at 100% coverage, at 5% please don't worry.
