Here you find instructions for picture upload: http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=36

Also check these threads, they contain more info about the new cartridges and the printers that use them: http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=8185 and http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=8155&p=1

Are you using these new cartridges, and if so have you tried refilling them? It would be interesting to hear about practical experiences with these cartridges, and also any rumours about resetters, ARC chips, compatible cartridges and ink sets suitable for refill.

The top cartridge is the Canon 29, the middle one is CLI-551 and the bottom one is the CLI-526

Thank you for the picture. You clearly see the difference in size between these cartridges.

An update to post #2 and #3:

These printers and cartridges are now also available in the US: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer?pageKeyCode=57

As I guessed, they are named Pixma iP7220, MG5420 and MG6320 and the cartridges are named PGI-250 and CLI-251. Like in Europe the cartridges are available in both standard and XL versions.

Well, I have refilled these cartridges without any problem. Refilling method is the same as for all the other Canon cartridges (i.e. PGI-525/CLI-526 - PGI-520/CLI-521). I used the same (IS)ink as I used for those cartridges and there is no colour difference. The ink monitor can be disabled in two ways:
- by holding the resumebutton for 30 seconds or
- disable the monitor in the menu printersettings
I have made Dutch refillinstructions.

This is very interesting.

Canon cartridges can be refilled in different ways, so could you please post some more details? Could you also post or link to your refill instructions in Dutch? Google translate should take care of the language problem, so you don't need to translate it into English.

I know there is a way of filling by drilling holes in the side. But here you have to be careful because the normal cartridge is partitioned in compartments in the inkreservoir (not the spunge) where the XL version is not. See the picture

I read carefully the way you refill your cartridges, it may well work for you but its a little bit to light on safety.

You have no way of knowing how much ink you have put into your cartridge or how much leaks out during your refilling
and I could see problems arising out of using this method sooner rather than later.

I would strongly recommend you view this method and then maybe
you could amend some of the ways you refill yours a bit more.
