How long do image specialists ink last (assuming it is still excellent quality)? If I use my printer seldom only, do I necessarily need to buy the 24oz kit from Precision Colors and store the remaining ink for years?

Please STOP with the bumping!!

You don't need to get the 24oz package, you can get less ink if you don't print often. I think it has a 2 years life, but it depends on how it's stored.

Click on this: http://www.precisioncolors.com/C5B.html . Shipping to US is 5.68 US$. There is a "Contact Us" button there, if you have additional questions.

Thanks. I thought it's perfectly normal to bump a thread when no one's answering?

"Normal" can mean different things to different people...

There is a 6oz package on precisioncolors's site. Why not order that and see how you like it?

I use IS inks and am very satisfied with the results. Inks should be stored in a cool and dark place, never in direct sunlight. Here's my setup:

This briefcase and any extra ink (in the original octoinkjet cardboard box) is stored in a cool place.

What I know is "normal" for bumping is every 24 hours. I guess I've missed that point for my last two consecutive bumping but still it is under the rules.

I ask this because I'm from the Philippines and shipping fee will be higher.

It is a good idea to add Location to your profile: http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/profile.php?section=personal&id=10526
Since you asked for a US based supplier I assumed you are located in the USA...

As you can see, there is no "bumping" on this forum. People read your post and help if they can.
"Bumping" will only lead to "skip this thread" and "this OP is trolling so I will ignore him". Or worse...

Just a friendly advice...

Maybe this will clarify: http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/misc.php?action=rules

Read a few times 4 and 6 from "Dont's.
