Canon MX300 reset ink levels

Thanks for the post Winston. Your procedure worked great for me. I was having a lot of difficulty finding a solution to this problem since I started using non-Canon refills. Awesome!

Hi Winston, Canon refilling gurou !

would the reset ink level procedure work for MP600 ? I've tried until step 6 but gets stuck as there is no "shipping mode 3" ... only shipping mode 2 and 1.

Any assistance welcomed

I've tried wisnton procedure on my MX700, it worked. I didn't do it to reset ink level though, I was exploring it for some other problem I have.

One ">" also take my MX700 to Shipping mode 2. However, if you keep pressing ">", once at a time, while keep watching the LCD, you'll probably ended up in mode 3, just like mine, and then you can continue with winston procedure.

And if your printer have back feeder like mine, have it loaded with paper too. Mine seems to insist on using back (manual) paper feed rather than the front one.
