Cannot install driver

I just got a canon 9500 mkii printer. I downloaded the drivers, but when I try to install, it cannot find the printer. Windows 10 does show the printer in the device manager, but says there is no driver. I tried setting it up on a mac, with the same results.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
