Buying New Printer - with specific attributes

Why spend that much? The Canon MP640 that I have has everything you want other than only 2 cartridges. It has 5 ink carts that can be easily and quickly refilled for about .30 each. And let there be no mistake this time......it definately has dual paper paths that will let you leave envelopes in the rear tray and letter paper in the bottom/front cassette. You can choose which to print from from the printer driver.

4. Toner cartridges in the UK are about $320 a set (current exchange rates) !!
5. Recommended duty cycle is 300 to 1,500 pages a month.
6. It doesn't have an envelope tray (place individual envelopes manually in the manual-feed slot).

Would suit a small office with no photo printing requirements.

songkrai: My daughter has an HP deskjet 5550. Two ink cartridges, HP 56 black, HP 57 tri-color. It has a tray for letter-size paper. Above the paper area is a lift-up lid that has a slot for envelopes. No sliders to adjust. The cartridges are refillable.
