Gooday All' Brand New here .. Going thru significant Drama' today, trying to setup my otherwise Steady Eddy' Brother MFC-J6530DW.. Looking for some help, and decided to sign up ..
Situation being I've not used the machine for some time (over a year) but has been living in my closet, at generally ambient room temps., and hasn't been abused in any way ..
This is a Multifunction Inkjet Unit' of which it's Scanning Capacity' is more important to me at the moment, than is Printing' at this point, but the 'Door Open Error' seems to be preventing me from doing anything further at all, with the Machine?
I have been searching Online' steadily, now on day (2), trying all that I've been able to find, including Std. Re Boots' Power Off' Count to 30', Un Plug / Remove Inks' Re Plug' Install Inks' / then Close Door / Look for other Door Open Faults' about the machine, all per the Genuine Brother Website CAN./USA. but without any luck thus far.
Quite sure it has to be something simple, and confident in taking things apart to Fix', if I knew where to look?
