Bad ffc can cause blank prints?

I dont know if this is the righht place to post this and i am sorry if it is not. I took a pic of my FFCs. The one on right seems ok (it is not on the pictures), but the one on the left doesnt look good. When try nozzle check or any okther print, print head does iits thing, but my paper comes out completely blank. Can bad/broken ffc cause blank printouts?

I don't know Epson printers but I think it is likely that a bad connection in the cable or connector can cause the printer to fail. It looks like new FFCs are available here. And here is an "exploded" drawing.

I think a new cable will restore printing.
