Anniversary update on Standard Lamp Mark V..

I now have this printer a week or so and am trying to get to grips with it..

After buying this printer that I didn’t want in the first place because one of my CR-10’s is out of action with a duff extruder issue, has now packed in too..

Ironically with a similar issue to the CR-10, it comes with an all in one extruder motor (Direct drive) in the hot end and it failed due to some teeth breaking off one of its internal gears..

Not bad after only a month in use, and I am now waiting on Creality to get back to me as to whether they will give me a new part for the hot end or failing that I’ll buy a new one myself..

They don’t make printers like the CR-10’s anymore, my oldest one I bought back in 2019 and it’s still going after running for day on end for weeks, O’ and they supply a new Slicer with the printer because none of the older Slicers will work, this one only works on a Klipper Gcode and not Marlin Gcode..
