Now we are getting into the mine is bigger than yours scenario.:lol: Incidentally the CM sensor may be 6 or 7.5mm diameter, but you can mask it down on the strip reader and I am fairly sure it will still perform well. Try some black adhesive PVC tape and a set of hole punches to make a mask then stick the mask on the CM. (Edit: Having looked at black PVC tape it is not the best light absorber, may be black paper would be better.)

Next point, I wonder if someone with a Pro100 would like to test the 750 patch 6 IS ink Argyll profile? Admittedly it was produced on a Pro9000 II, but it might be an interesting test?

Hi Emulator: Did you compared the 660 versus the 750 target ? I do not believe there will be any visible difference between those two, when your ink set is linear.

Hi pharmacist, no not yet, but I will try to generate some data. Quite a lot to do at the moment, as we have the next two generations coming to stay this next week.

Didn't you compare the wrongly read 660 patch target with the 750 patch target ? I suggest the reread 660 patch target with the 750 patch target. I see strange spikes on the he 3rd picture, which I think is caused by some reading errors of some patches. You mentioned rereading the patches corrected these strange spikes.

All this looks very complicated when the straight forward Colormunki profiles work great as is.

No, the first 660 profile was 12 Feb, see below. The re-read was 13Feb and the 750 was 15Feb. Look at the vertical scales, the 13FEb only goes up to about 4, which is not too bad, but the spikes probably could be improved, I doubt if you could see them in a normal print, the 15Feb is generally less than 1 and exceptionally good, but the 12Feb spikes go up to 15 and 36. I checked the values in another view angle. You should see some of the other profiles that are knocking about many of them commercial. ArgyllCMS does an excellent job on colorimetric, but is a bit off in perceptual, why I don't know, but you commented about it some months ago.

RogerB was asking about the spikes on the 12Feb660, clearly due to miss-reading errors (my first Argyll profile) and querying whether the holes (see top right spectrum below) really exist. I haven't as yet investigated.

@RogerB I followed your advice and these two images display the misreading glitches, that show up as holes in the other display, very well. I have set the saturation to 33% roughly where they occur.
