iP4xxx thanks for the link to the needles.

Now to find a source for just one of those needles.

Try to email them and ask to buy just a few. I believe they will give you a price.

Still looking for 20 gauge 2 inch or longer needle.

I've got the 20 gauge @ 2" long and the scabbards too on OctoInkjet if that's any use... Also got 22 gauge too @ 1.5" and 2"

I've not bothered with the 3" long simply because the cost nearly tripled.

Anyone purchasing my ink kits can always sub the plugs for the 20 gauge 2" needle by request. After testing various gauges, I've come to the conclusion that the 18 gauge might be too thick for easy and problem free repeated penetrations as well as requiring a large hole. With the 20 gauge with the right wall thickness, the required hole is small enough to make without drilling and just requiring a hole making tool which I also provide with the refill kits.

That essentially means refilling without using any hardware at all. Apartment dwellers and students have an easy time of refilling now.

This is so frustrating.
The stigma attached to needles and syringes in the US really makes refilling suck.

All I wanted was one 20 gauge needle to see how it compared to the 18 gauge needle using the German method.
It is nice to have 3 inch long needle so it will reach the bottom of a 2 oz. bottle of ink.

I may have to change over to shorter glass bottles and us the 2 inch needle. I think the grocery store sells pimentos in short 2 oz bottles that will work.

Wonder what pimento juice will do to a Canon print head? LOL

I think that is an unrealistic request considering shipping.

Octoinkjet was best deal for bottles with needles and they were colored too. Even lower cost than domestic dealers.
