hi, so I've a hp 8500 printer with L shapped cartridges and several litters of ink. the printer has some issues but since it's very economically because it spends very few ink I'm very happy with it. The problem is, I need A3 size. the hp 8500 only prints A4 so I'm looking for something...

what printer and CISS should I get?

inktec colours were better except for the black. I made several tests using this document http://www.fho-emden.de/~hoffmann/a3gencolorhigh.pdf they were all very much the same. Though the imagespecialists yellow dye looked a lot more clear (ink itself, not when printed). I had clog problem with...

what printer and CISS should I get?

my K550 saga has ended. I bought 2 printers and printed about 240000 A4 colour flyers (colour front and back) before the printers start malfunctioning. It gave me an average total cost of 0.012 per page which is super great. 2880 vs 30000. I tried inktec and imagespecialists inks. Inktec gave me...

    mixing inks

well... I just remembered that I refilled original HP 88 cartridges with inktec ink without these being empty and I had no problem... why would the chemicals react? it's just ink. But I guess it's better to play safe.

what printer and CISS should I get?

I couldn't believe that I found a store next to me where I can buy nice and cheap inks (from inktec). I bought refillable cartridges. I had some trouble with them cause they wouldn't reset. After some printer reset I finally got it to work. inks cost me 6.5 each for 100ml. cartridges were...

what printer and CISS should I get?

Thank you for your help. But it doesn't tell me much because I don't known how many pages you print. 8months is equivalent to what? What you think about this? http://cgi.ebay.com/4PK-Ink-hp-88-K5400-L7680-K550-K8600-XL-Refillable-/220397482554?cmd=ViewItem&pt=BI_Toner&hash=item3350b6b23a or...

what printer and CISS should I get?

I still haven't bought any system. This turned out to be a lot more difficult then I expected. What volume of ink? What is the price for the work of refilling cartridges? For me it's zero. Sure it has some advantages and it's very cool but I don't care about that. I just want the lowest price...

what printer and CISS should I get?

adaptiveink sounds very expensive when compared to other CISS and inks. I'm specially concerned with ink refills. they only have available 120ml refills, or 120, 360, 720ml tanks. ofc tanks cost more. but you can't buy 720ml refills for the tank, you would have to buy 6x120ml refills or a new...

what printer and CISS should I get?

paper handling is not a problem. I'm gonna try the officejet pro 8000 since it's half price and it does the same job at printing. and if something goes wrong I can just buy another one and save a lot. what's the difference between ink and pigment? and that adaptiveink thing doesn't have a...

what printer and CISS should I get?

I'm in Portugal. the HP 8600 sounds interesting indeed. the #88 cartridges last for 1650 pages and have 17.1ml of ink vs 16ml and 1400 of the other one. so that 8600dn is even better. But the #88 have built in printheads and therefore are more expensive, and with a CISS I would have to replace...
