I am looking to redesign the Inkmon programs. I cannot access the printer driver but I do realise the re calibration (fine Tuning) is a bit tricky to some so I will look into that.
As far as using the printer as a copier. The only way I can think to include these outputs into the logging is to...
I have come back to this forum as the UPX compiler used to compile Trigger$&% has come up with false positives in AVG Avanti and others.
New files have been re compiled and are available in the files section of the inkmon forum.

My printer has developed the problem of not returning to the start position so that when I turn it on I get an error message, I can fix it by turning it off and sliding the head to the right. It fixes itself on start up.
The printer is an Epson RX530, Any idea's?
I was in the middle of refilling my ink tanks when my resetter blinked and died. I have had it a year. It was one of those Chinese versions. It appeared molded together, so with nothing to lose i removed the label to find two screws holding it together, the fit was so good I could not see the...
Some of you know that I am developing a reliable monitor for Canon printers that lose their monitor when refilling. I now have data on a print job. The condition I am now researching is mainly Resolution/Quality. I am trying to find the difference in usage between different levels of resolution...
I am researching ink usage for all types of printers, a bit beyond page yield. I am after ink usage rates for different resolutions in B&W or Colour.
Also maybe someone can answer this. I have two photos each of the same subject one taken with half the resolution of the other. Now I print those...
My Epson RX530 has 4 ink tanks. They do not use sponges. My question is if I emptied and filled a cartridge with a suitable cleaner, could I then place that cleaner cartridge in each ink position to flush its print heads?.
Then having done that how long would it take to get the ink to replace...
When I fill my black cartridge for my HP720c I squeeze the sides of the cartridge as I seal the refill hole. I find that this sets up a slight negative atmosphere that helps to stabilize the cartridge much quicker than just letting it drip to equalize pressure.
It still drips a bit but I hold...
I need some more printer owners to beta test my Universal Ink Monitor
Trial version on Yahoo group "InkMon"
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/inkmon/?yguid=177393865 in the files section.
For it to be fine tuned there needs to be more trials conducted.

I keep reading that you can only refill a few times. I have refilled my old HP720c carts more times than I can recall without any quality loss. What is this short life of a cartridge I hear all the time?
It does not seem to apply to me which is perplexing. The best of all, this kind of comment...
When removing the carts from printers like the HP720c place a strip of thin plastic between the head contacts and those of the printers. There is a tendancy of the pins on the printer cutting in to those on the cart destroying the contact between them.
The plasti strip pushes the spring...
After using various cleaning methods to unclog the carts, I resorted to centrifugal force. I placed each cart with the head sitting in a pad of tissue soaked in metho placed in a plastic bag. This I twisted up and swung in circles. The force applied to the ink plus the softening of the clogged...
