Pixma IP8750 - WIFI connection Issues

I've fixed it.!!!! In the end, while clutching at straws, I setup a DHCP scope on the access point the printer attached to and hey presto it got it's IP address and now works. You shouldn't need to do this as the IP address should be allocated via the master scope on my main router but hey...

Pixma IP8750 - WIFI connection Issues

OK, It may be easier to understand if I word this differently... I have a wireless network in a workshop, large room with lots of things in, wires are a trip hazard and best off not being used, hence the want for wireless printing. I also have a requirement for printing from iPad design...

Pixma IP8750 - WIFI connection Issues

OK, I've done a little more investigation and it appears that the 8750 doesn't like WPA2 and AES for the WiFi security. If you change it to TKIP the Canon works. GREAT... not so much because then the Brother won't connect as WPA2 and TKIP isn't supported by that and teh Epson has given up as you...

Pixma IP8750 - WIFI connection Issues

Hi all, We've recently purchased a Pixma IP8750. It's a great printer and prints well, but we've only been using it over the USB connection. However it has now become essential to print via an iPAD to the printer and to do this it needs to be connected to the wifi. No biggie as it's all speced...

Pixma Pro 1 - Ink doors not releasing

OK, i's been useful having a working Pro-1 to swap bits out with. The door works, in the working printer, so nothing the wrong way around there. The printer iteslf works, when you don't need to open the doors, and prints very well. If you manually open the right hand door, by pulling the facia...

Pixma Pro 1 - Ink doors not releasing

Ok, Thanks. That had me worried there for a bit as I've had the PSU apart to check the 12V line was ok, seemed good to me but no way of checking it 'on load' on my bench. Anyways, got the 'new' printer back together and with the help of the inks from my old one got it printing a picture but I'm...

    Hello from Shropshire

Hi, I've had my Cannon Pixma Pro 1 for about 4 years and love it, just not the cost of the genuine inks, so will be looking for some recommendations on OEM units. I've also just picked up a second Pro 1 with a little fault and hope you can help me identify the bit that's broken so I can fix it...
