Horizontal Lines on Plain Paper using "Standard" mode

I want to add that, a few moments ago, I tried printing the same photo using "plain paper" mode and a higher quality setting than "High"( I chose "more settings" then set the slider to the maximum). With these settings, it printed the photo perfect without any banding. So I think I will use...

Horizontal Lines on Plain Paper using "Standard" mode

Thanks for your answer. I chose #7, do I need to choose realign or just chose and press "end"? After choosing #7 and clicking "end" , I printed a photo which I printed 5 minutes before with horizontal bandings, again and this time it printed it perfect , without any horizontal banding. But...

Horizontal Lines on Plain Paper using "Standard" mode

Thanks for your answer. There is a thin black line in some of the rectangles which seperates them, I chose "4" numbered one which doesn't have a seperator line.I think the scanned image lacks that black seperator line detail. I tried that and the result is, there is no banding on the printed...

Horizontal Lines on Plain Paper using "Standard" mode

Thanks for your answer. I hesitated a bit about that, I didn't trust myself that I could do it in the right way, so I took the printer to an Epson service-center. They checked the printer then phoned me and told that it was normal, that it was an expected thing on plain paper and that I...

Horizontal Lines on Plain Paper using "Standard" mode

Thanks for your answer. Here is the result of nozzle check: Here is the problematic 1st set squares when I try to do head-alignment: I never be able to get perfect one square from 1st set on the printed head-alignment pages. It has printed 2726 pages in total. The horizontal banding...

Horizontal Lines on Plain Paper using "Standard" mode

Thanks for your answer. Yes, I did in the past. After reading your comment, I did it again. The problem is, on the head-alignment paper,in the 1st set which it prints black squares only, they always have lines/banding, sometimes thin white lines, sometimes additional thicker gray...

Horizontal Lines on Plain Paper using "Standard" mode

I am using an Epson L3060 printer. If I print a photo on plain paper using "Standard" setting, it prints with thick horizontal lines.I tried so many printer-head cleanings, it sometimes gets minimum, though still very thin horizontal lines exist. Then the next day problem repeats and I start...

One tiny line keeps not printing

Thankfully this time it took just about 5-6 head-cleaning to print perfect blacks.I think part of the problem was about very low ink level(though at first filling ink didn't seem to solve the problem). Also while filling the inks, I solved how to read the ink levels.

One tiny line keeps not printing

I wrote too early...I opened the ink tanks and noticed that all the colors were about to finish, so I filled all the inks in the printer tank. But still it prints the blacks very bad, like more than half of the color is erased... I think I will do sets of printer-head cleaning again.

One tiny line keeps not printing

Thanks for your replies. Thanks for the details.I think I would do it only if I don't have any less risky techniques which I didn't try. I should say that although after 15 times it started printing well, after a few prints it "clogged" again, actually black ink almost stopped printing...

One tiny line keeps not printing

Thanks for your answer.Like you suggested, after giving printer some rest and then doing 2 more head-cleanings solved the problem, printing the same photo using "standard" setting on a plain paper, this time resulted in a photo without lines, bandings.

One tiny line keeps not printing

Well, after about 15th head-cleaning, now it prints the nozzle check perfectly.I tried printing the same photo, this time I noticed two horizontal bandings.I did 2 head-cleanings more but the result didn't change. Then I changed "standard" quality setting to "High" quality setting and printed...

One tiny line keeps not printing

When I print something with black, there becomes horizontal lines on the paper. When I print nozzle check, it prints almost perfect but with one tiny exception: One of the tiny lines is not printed right.I think the problem is connected to that. I head-cleaned(via Epson driver/software) more...

    Horizontal lines, head alignment

Before printing these,I did a nozzle check, it looked perfect. After printing these, I did a nozzle check again. This time it was not perfect.I did print-head-cleaning and then printed the same photo using "plain paper" and selecting the highest quality setting, on a plain paper, this time it was...

    Horizontal lines, head alignment

Update: The problem got solved, please look at the second post. Thanks for your answer. When I printed on plain paper, I used "Plain Paper" and "High" quality setting. Today I had some time to play with the printer and settings.First I did some more head-alignment.Then I tried printing a...

    Horizontal lines, head alignment

When I print photos on a plain A4 paper, I notice some thin horizontal lines on the print, some of them are on black, some of them are on gray, some of them are on skin color. But when I print the same photos on an A5 photo paper, I see no lines on the print. Does this printer require head...

Red prints brown, are all plain papers same?

Well, seems like adjusting brightness to lighter created better red on plain paper and closer to the colors I see on monitor, possibly cause of the reason "lcd monitors are bright".I think,at least in CMY, when you lighten brown enough it becomes red( at least in my recent experience, it...
