Pro 100 and fine art/matte paper

In a studio it becomes easier to control the light. The set up itself is pretty simple. A single overhead light in a parabolic umbrella (medium silver from Paul C Buff) with a front diffusor. The light was boomed overhead and pointed straight down, the model was placed right at the edge of...

Pro 100 and fine art/matte paper

Last night I printed 6 images with the 11x17 Moab Lustre. It is a very subtle lustre that is almost matte. I like the final print with this paper, although it did print slightly darker than my file it's something that I can easily adjust. The Moab has less sheen than the Ilford Smooth Pearl...

Pro 100 and fine art/matte paper

Yesterday I scored two boxes of Hahnemuhle Bamboo 13x19 for $30. One box is new, unopened the other only had 3 sheets missing. Pro 100 and fine art/matte paper

How many of you print on fine art, cotton rag or matte paper? I am looking for some recommendation as to what works well with the Pro-100. I contacted Red River about a few of their papers wanting to buy samples of five different but was told that they don't break up sample packs. Might...

Help with printing out of LR & PS

@Thombar Are you printing directly from your photo editing software? As far as I know, you can do one of two things, let PS or LR do the color or you let the printer/driver control the color but not both. The video I linked to goes into detail about how to do either. I think the video...

Help with printing out of LR & PS

I too am on a Mac, I am using Canon's Print Studio Pro as a plug-in from LR5. @Thombar did you download the drivers from the CD that was included with your printer? If not, then I suggest you download the drivers if not from the CD then from the Canon website. From PS you can then access...

16 bit print on Pixma Pro 100

@The Hat I do not mind the borders at all. The largest prints I've made have been 11 x 8.5, I'm looking forward to printing larger formats. I made some prints on Moab Somerset Museum Rag and one of the image was cropped inside of the border because I was messing around with the border size...

    hi

The refill kit I purchased did come with an empty cart for yellow... just hope I don't ruin the chip transfer. I can say that I much prefer my prints to those I was getting from Adorama and ProDPI.

16 bit print on Pixma Pro 100

Hello, Is it possible to print a tiff file in 16 bit with ProFoto color space on the Pixma Pro 100? I am running Yosemite (Mac), printing from LR5 using Print Studio Pro. Also, when using art paper and a border is forced how can I view the actual image with border before print? thank you...

Been a photographer for quite a few years, recently started printing my own work on a Pixma Pro 100. Primarily a portrait photographer, hoping to glean some knowledge. Cheers, Jesus
