My friend has not used his printer for a while,an elderly chap in poor health,when he tried printg an A4 image on glossy paper a dark band appeared on leading and trailling edges. The band is approx 10-15mm deep,the rest of the print appears OK though he says he thinks there may be some clogging...

I have pinwheel lines the length of my prints, they appear to come from the wheels that drive/turn the final rubber rollers at the output end . They mark the prints and are noticeable, I print for club comps and this counts against me. Any solutions please?
Greetings all, I have been shooting since the late 70's, canon all the way,print on Pro 1,2nd unit as first developed track marks along the length of print and bar marks across the last area of print,Canon replaced whole unit[had first for 16 mnths] free of charge.I print mostly B/W.
