    Hi Thilo, thanks for the update. Do you know the software works for a simple CMYK office printer as well, like the Epson WF-7840 ? I have done a test many years ago with several hues of black and grey for the CMYK positions and the initial results were not bad, but without QTR.

    Is Claude also taking into account to read version 4 ICC profiles ? I am not sure if ChromIQ can write version 4 profiles (I did not check this), but maybe this would be nice.

    i1Pro1 uv-cut version: not sure it will work with OBA containing papers

    Today I did a test on cheap OBA containing cast paper from Action Glossy 210 gsm: Only in the greys I see some difference. The UV-cut device (ES-1000) has slight greenish/yellowish hue in the greys. Maybe I can minimise it with the colprof command. But it seems be pretty acceptable.

    I received the device today and tested with chromiq and i1profiler that detects the device as M2. I made a test profile on oba containing glossy paper but due to the UV filter the greys have a bluish teint in broad daylight viewing. Not sure if I could counter this effect with a setting in color...

    Yes, but only for the profile generating process, not for scanning. That is done with it's own proprietary program and only patch by patch.

    With the latest version beta 21 I can set the Delta-E to 50: The amount of false positives is now much more acceptable to have visual check very quickly whether or not you have to reread a row.

    ok, I tried increasing the Delta-E from 20 to 70 now every few patches to see how the amount of highlighted patches are decreasing: From my experience with the i1Studio (Colormunki) and the i1Profiler those highly visible offset difference between expected/measured values are totally normal...

    Hi @itsab1989 , not sure what I am doing wrong, but it seems to be restored now: OK, I am retesting the scanning now and increasing the Delta-E to about 40 so see if I still see those unncessary highlights.

    I am afraid beta 20 is eine Verschlimmbesserung .......This was available in the beta 19: This is gone in the beta 20.

    very strange, this should be visible in the softproofing by strange colour pike in the colour gradients. I don't see anything strange and the softproofing is very smooth and no strange colour spikes. I also see the strange expected/measured values in row D: But it doesn't translate at all...
