My Canon PIXMA G2010 Printer colour printing error

...If you use only OEM inks then you will need at least a new Magenta. Funnel-shaped loss of ink in the Magenta is characteristic of Ink Starvation. This can be due to an empty cartridge or something impeding the flow of ink through the cartridge. If the cartridge is empty then refill or get...

My MAXIFY 5350 is on refill ink

...areas of ink loss in the Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. This missing ink skips repeatedly and in a regular pattern. Is this due to ink starvation (poor flow through the cartridge) or a roller mark? I have never seen a clog behave like this (measured and repeating skip pattern in a nozzle...

Refilled this cartridge and can't get ink to come out

Oh! I didn't know that the black in the test was made by cym cartridges. That changes everything. Okay, I'll watch vids and refill cym and test again....

Refilled this cartridge and can't get ink to come out

...variable print head clogging. The funnel-shaped missing ink best seen in the Cyan and somewhat in the Magenta are classic signs of ink starvation in a Canon inkjet. I'd bet it is the same for your HP since they are similar thermal print head inkjet printers. The straight lines of missing...

Bad nozzle check that changes with time on Pixma Pro 100

Welcome to the forum, juanmisser. The Pro 100 is a great printer and may be one of the last to be easily refillable. The issue is ink starvation. There is poor ink flow within the cartridge. The horizontal funnel shaped loss of ink is classic. The solution is to thoroughly flush the...

Appreciate your help. I Will try with new ink tanks and update back.

    Pro 200 - Need help

Ink starvation is an explanation except I would not expect a pause in the banding at the bottom of the page when the cartridge has had prolonged demands. Nor would I expect the frequency of banding to increase, then disappear altogether, and then return despite the image being relatively...

    Pro 200 - Need help

Thank you, I did deep cleaning on the suggestion of Canon support. Will wait until I get the new ink to try anything else with the printer as suggested by Mike.

    Pro 200 - Need help

Thank you, I'll not print anything else from it. The print exited from the top end where the flower starts. It is happening since the day I got this printer (06/08 to be precise) It is a used printer.

    Pro 200 - Need help

Indeed I am, and someone on another thread suggested to post on this forum so I am here since it is more focused on printing. I can't try with new inks as my inks are in transit and FedEx is taking forever to deliver them. Trying to get the ink tanks locally and will update the results here...

    Pro 200 - Need help

...this new printer, but, there is no reason yet to believe it should be different from past models. As mikling stated, this may be an ink starvation issue, but this does not explain why there is a brief pause in the banding after a series of increased number of lines per unit area in a part of...

    Pro 200 - Need help

...I recommended he change the tanks to new ones. On DPreview https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/65216970 the picture clearly shows ink starvation somewhere that is not revealed perfectly in the nozzle check, If the starvation does not go away, he is left with one conclusion. Bad printhead...

    Beloved i9900

Missing ink is bad. It can be from a clog(s), empty cartridge, poor ink flow through the cartridge (ink starvation) or from electrical failure in the print head and/or logic assay board. Your nozzle check show multiple abnormalities besides missing CYM. There is banding in the vertical black...

My MAXIFY 5350 is on refill ink

We don't know yet if the inks will work. I would refill the OEM carts (SETUP's can be filled to XL volume) instead of using refillables. Less problems with leaking and cross-contamination.

My MAXIFY 5350 is on refill ink

This is good to hear that these new MegaTank inks can be used to refill the Maxify series. My aging Epson Artisan 730 AIO is about to be thrown out the window as I'm sick of the Yellow ink giving me starvation issues no matter what I do. I've had other issues too so its just about time to...

What is the current best Canon Pixma iX6820 (PGI-251) CISS solution?

...use refilled cartridges. You will always need to babysit your printer, as The Hat said, in order to be ready to stop printing if/when ink starvation occurs or else risk irreparable damage to the print head. Sooner or later you will need to flush the cartridge to restore good ink flow. This...

    IP7250 keeps on clogging magenta

I've seen that too and The Hat claimes it is due to poor ink. I agree (problem gone with OEM ink). This problem is a blocking in the print head itself from the inlet and out. Normally I can press cleaning liquid (or water) through with a tube and a syringe, but not anymore. As I see it there...

    IP7250 keeps on clogging magenta

I have seen this as an effect of ink starvation at some time - if you don't add ink to the sponge but just fill up the chamber with ink during your refill process the ink cannot be pulled out of the chamber via slight underpressure during the printing process. Just give it a try and soak the...
