And on the labor day sales last weekend, IP3500 was $30 with a $30 rebate at Fry's.
Did not buy one because I have one unopened that I acquired for 14.99!
I did order one from MAPSY through ebay a month ago. It arrived fine and works great. I believe the price is slightly higher than what she's offering here.
Again, thank you Grandad35. I will read the links you provided. A quick glance at them looks like it's heavy duty reading.
A custom printer profile seems like the way to go.
Thank you the response.
For flash, I set it on manual. Perhaps I should put it back on auto.
Regarding the ink, i do notice that this brand of ink is on an intense side with magenta with a number of brands of paper, including the 2 I mentioned in the last post. Even with daylight pictures...
I have MP780 and a new IP4500.
The IP4500 still has the original canon ink. The MP780 is refilled with ink from inksupply.com.
Paper used are Kirkland and Ilford papers from Costco. Printing software is normally Canon EasyPhotoprint. I like to print 4 snapshots on an 8x11. My camera is Canon...
Nanosec,
I have an IP4500. It's only a month old and still has the original OEM carts in it. Let me know if you want me to help out in trying the cart(s). I am in the San Diego area.
Got the 4500 as recommended by fotofreek, a forum member here, after my MP780 had some pizza wheel issue.
I just acquired an IP4500 and a MP970. Was wondering if the MIS bulk ink that I used for MP780 is still compatible with IP4500 and MP970?
Checking the Inksupplydotcom site, it offers different codes - CANS800 vs CANCLI8.
Thanks
Thank you.
Did the test described and the pigment black was stable while the dye based black ran. Therefore I did not accidentally mix up the ink. So I have this problem with dark areas of photo appearing matted in comparison to other areas.
I was wondering if anybody has any experience with the above ie - when looking a photo printed on a glossy photo paper at an angle, the dark area (black hair etc) appears matted in comparison to other areas. It's a little bothersome.
I don't believe I have accidentally mixed up the black...
Again - thank you Fotofreek and Smile for the advise (and an email address). I'm going to try to remove the offending pizza wheel. If unsuccessful, I will look into getting a new printer like the MP970 or something similar. Any recommendation? My main usage are printing text (son's homework)...
Thx Photofreek.
Yes, it's caused by the "pizza wheel". The 3rd one from the left. I also have performed "prevent paper abrasion" (suggested also by Canon) but to no avail.
How do I contact Tony?
Thank you again.
I actually lived in New Zealand for a few yrs but live in San Diego now.
Hi - A great forum!
I was wondering if anybody has any experience with prints being scratched/marked by the roller mechanism? It looks as though it's from the top part of the mechanism-above the print. It runs across the entire page as a straight line, much like knife cut. The thicker the...
