Wil, was the ink that was still in the sponges also OCP ink? I will be opening my Christmas gift (Canon Pro9000 MK2) the 25th, and I am interested in using 3rd party ink.

Your comment about Alps printers reminds me of buying four recondition Alps 1000 printer from Alps many years ago. I think I still have three unopened boxes that came from Alps. How time flies, and interests change.

P.S. Please give me some examples of liquids being bought and sold by weigh.
Examples of liquids being bought and sold as volumes are gasoline, milk, water, etc.
If an item is sold as volume, the buyer expects the stated volume or a little more, NOT LESS. On your $18 ink purchase, you were short 7ml out of 59.147ml or 11.8% or $2.13.
If the purchase I just made of 8 ink 4 oz. bottles for $43.88 was shorted the same percent, that would equal $5.18. We...
How are you measuring the two oz.? Pour one of the containers of ink in 1/4 cup to see if you are short of ink. i think you will find you were given too much.

The above is a scan of a nozzle check on a Canon iP6000D printer (calling it #2 printer). The nozzles are clean and ink cartridges are not in question, because they came from a perfectly working iP6000D printer (calling it #1...
Which is better in picture frames for fade resistance, plastic or glass? The plastic I am asking about is-
Acrylite OP-3 P-99 which is an Ultaviolet Filtering Museum Quality non-glare matte finish.
I would think that the plastic would give off gases that would harm the photo, where the glass...
I'll ask my question in a different way. The backup print head (Canon iP4300) has been totally dry for over two months. Do I just leave the head in the condition it is in, or do I-----?
