Thanks for your insight Mike.
I have 2 Pro-100's with one still in the box. The other has been plugged in (and on) and only occasionally used but did sit idle for over 3 months. Printed a test page and it came out perfect. I have a 9000 Mark ll and this is also the case but probably sat for...
I haven't been that active simply because I've been well taken care of. I did purchase 2 Canon Pro 100's with rebate and although I already have my ink I'm waiting for the cartridges to become readily available, hence the 2 printers.
I would like to remind you of a post I made back in the day...
Ilford is offering a 25% rebate on their paper if you are inclined.
I was just looking on Amazon and they have some reasonable pricing on certain varieties.

Shopping at Costco again and they had more 8.5x11 Tulip boxed paper in stock at the original price of just under 19.00.
Really makes me wonder just what they are doing...
I'm thinking along the same lines as Mike. They don't give it away unless they need the room on the shelf for something else.
I use it all the time so I bought a few boxes... really hard to beat the value.
Hard to be objective as I purchased the machine without cartridges for a song. It was a leap of faith to purchase the ink set and cartridges as they cost me far more than the printer itself.
I have seen prints off other similar Epson products using OEM ink and I would gladly put mine side by...
I have an Epson 4880 and I purchased some refillable 220ml cartridges from Presision Colors and also a chip re-setter.
I have subsequently purchased a Color Munki and am more than pleased with most of my results. I'd probably purchase all the above again but I haven't really challenged the...
Here's a consideration for a high volume user.

I purchased one of these on the cheap.
Want a top quality what I refer to is medium format printer? Mechanically these seem to be bulletproof. The stand actually retailed for about 300.00 and I've seen them sell for more on eBay.
These things are bulky and about 90 pounds so bring your buddy...
I was in the market for a larger format pigment printer (I own a Cannon 9000 Mark ll) and started watching eBay and Craigslist. I was fortunate and purchased an Epson 4880 for a mere $100.00 but I wasn't offered the opportunity to see it in action as the owner reportedly threw out all the...
OK, Even on 0 brightness she's still bright on sRGB preset, probably need sunglasses!
Speed test... pretty damn fast for an IPS. This is actually the AO2 revision with newest drivers.
OK, 355.00 plus freight ... $400. to my door. Still has warranty left, no dead/bright pixels.
Let me get the...
Reportedly updates have solved the dithering and tint issues. My buddy has one that's almost 2 years old and appears fine.
Screen specific, who knows. This is a Rev. AO1 so I know it's not the newest (AO5) but there are always updates.
The panel is the same structure as that used in the HP...
I ended up with a Dell U2410 purchased on eBay. Brand new including shipping for $400.
