I'll be setting mine up soon after I read through the details in the manual. This will be one of the first printers that I will read the manual before starting up!
That's funny, I’ve never read any printer instructions before, maybe that’s where it’s all going wrong... :duc

...and it shows.

Instruction number 1: Always use the manufacturer's OEM ink cartridges. :)

Haven't contributed much lately, but have been very interested in Mikling's comments on the Canon IPF1000.

Looking down the pike, and in a coup[le of years will probably need a replacement for my Epson 3880. Front runners currently are the Epson p800 if the refill issue is resolved, or the Canon ipf1000 as long as no bad behavioral tendencies toward refilling come to light. Thank goodness Mike L is stick handling this one and, and I am looking forward to his forthcoming reviews.

Also by the time I purchase it will be a mature product and hopefully seller deals will be available.

If anybody is interested in the Canon 1000 I have archived a couple of reviews from my early research. They are mainly about the waste tanks and Chroma Optimizer.

I have no expertise with this printer. Merely trying to expand the knowledge base.

All of them! LOL
Mike and I are working on the refilling of the OEM carts. Several ways to do it. Single use chips are available. Ink set will come soon.
I will be adding one to the herd in my basement in a few months.

Good to know Jose.
Looking forward to the information as it becomes available.
We all owe you and Mike a debt of gratitude for the info you share.

Quick aside Jose. Some time ago when you showed us a pic of your herd. Either this or some other site. I showed it to my wife hoping to get some sympathy for my mere two printers. All I got was, "Hrumff - His wife must be a Saint!" ;)
