Hi
I am trying to cut down on paper usage in our restaurant, and have some receipts that are being printed, but we usually just throw them out.
I've been able to "trick" the printer to print with no paper in it, without giving an error message.
But now i am wondering if can be harmful for the printer and the printer head to not have any paper to put the heat onto.
The printer we are using is the Epson TM-T88V.

I am a wee bit curious on this, why would you want to print an invisible receipt out when clearly you don’t need or want them, it just doesn’t make any sense.
Is this some sort of VAT fiddle ? :hide
