Printer Profile Validation: M1 vs. M2 and ΔE2000 Evaluation

It seems you are at run 8 already. You have to stay at the run number you made the profile from. Only change to verification instead of profiling.
Thanks for the reminder!

Issue: Measurement Is Prohibited When Run Type Is Set to Verification
Hi @jctay ,
Strange that you have this issue. I suggest that you post the log files, as asked for several times. That is the only thing that will show exactly what you are doing and if the app is hitting some issue or bug. Please open the preferences window (the middle icon):

Go to the Paths tab:
1792287000132.png

Now click the reveal button on the Log file-line. For windows the path will be different, but the window and function should be the same.

Compress all the log files you have in that folder and post it... Then it can be analysed.

Sorry for the inconvenience...
Thanks,
Knut

Please find the attached Logs folder, which contains a total of 7 files in the ZIP archive.

Thank you.

I will look into this but it has to wait 2 days because I have no usage limits left on my account at the moment.

I try to get this fixed as soon as possible. But I don’t know whether I have enough usage left on my account for it to get the fix out with it. As I said in the worst case it takes 2 days.

@jctay
The AI is running the usual tests and estimates it is going to take around 30-40 minutes until the update will be released :)

Thanks for finding this bug and sending the log file! And sorry for causing you this trouble…

Edit:

The app bundles are building on GitHub:

ChromIQ Verification Feature for Windows PC
Version: 4.3.6

The verification feature, including measurement of the verification chart, is now functioning properly.
Please note that some debugging options are still enabled.

Also, please note that the Preset always saves the random seed as "null".

:thumbsup Thank you to the ChromIQ design team for all your hard work and prompt responses!

Hi @jctay ,
Thanks for your effort too, I know it must have been frustrating for you...

We would all love for you to post the result of your verification run, and the Measurement Report feature, and your thoughts and judgement on this... And, also if this feature fulfils your needs in making sure the colors and result is sufficient quality? Does it replace your initial need to compare against ColorChecker 24 (CC24) reference values?

Maybe post a report, and what you think about it, and the different report types with limit sets?

You are the first person to test this officially (on Windows), besides Sebastian and me (on Mac), which is why you encountered the bugs. So we are eager to hear your analysis...

Please note that some debugging options are still enabled.
Could you please specify exactly what you mean? Take screenshots maybe?

Also, please note that the Preset always saves the random seed as "null".
A preset is a pre-designed setup of a chart layout with a patch set. They, by default, are all randomised but not fixed to a random seed. However, the .ti2 file is saved with a tag that shows the current seed-number for the generated chart, like RANDOM_START "738616609". Is it this tag you say is "null"?

Maybe I don't understand what you mean? Can you explain? post a file of a screenshot of what you see?

Thanks alot,
Knut
