Are ALL Epson Ecotank ink bottles Sold without their cardboard boxes non genuine ?

Just wish to check genuine. One color, yellow from a few years ago moves freely within the vacuum packed bottle.

I just wish there was a foolproof way to spot knockoffs since Epson does not sell loosies. The verify epson app does not work on bottle QRs and carboard boxes of my 542s dont have qrs

You can buy directly from Epson. The price should be the same anywhere, as far as I know.
