I only had this new CR-10s a short while before the hotbed had a bit of an accident !, while endeavouring to remove a finished print from it that was stuck, I damaged the laminate surface on the bed , so I decided to go with a new magnetic foam cover.

The other two printers had them and they worked well, and the hotbed was in need of something because it was becoming a pain in the arse trying to place my prints around the hotbed to avoid the Feckin hole…

In for a penny in for a pound..

Do you need to prepare the surface or coat it with something before printing?
Nope...That’s the beauty of this stuff, it’s good to go all the time..
I still like the glass on my other CR-10..
