Ah, yes, well, been reading about them for ages, never seen one so have bought one.
Why?, don't know yet, will no doubt find out when I've built it. That appeals to me more than actually printing anything at the moment.
I have no interest in creating toy elephants, pink or any other colour.
If I can print useful things ( I will need to get my head around some CAD software for that) then I shall be well pleased.
I've usually design and build things by the measure twice, cut once, throw away and start again method.
I've managed to design and build automated coffee roasters, a/d converters (in the 'old' days these were hugely expensive to buy (Apple IIe a bygone era))., automatic gates, and quite a few bits of calibration equipment (in the days of transistors and electronic components you could see.
So, now its plastic and filaments, fire extinguishers and fume extraction.. we will see.
Anyway, greetings to one and all, especially the 3DP freaks especially the Anet 3DP freaks, especially the Anet A2 3DP freaks (for freaks read enthusiasts).
