I have a Canon MG6350 Wireless multi-function printer. I think I have branded XL Canon ink cartridges though it's possible they are good copies. The printer isn't used a great deal, though it is on standby most of the time.
When printing text, some of the text comes out blurry or doubled, and the problem appears to be associated with the PGBK ink cartridge.
I have run the automatic head alignment, nozzle cleaning and deep cleaning program and the effect is unchanged.
I've attached a couple of photos of the Nozzle Check pattern produced by the maintenance tools, which illustrates the problem quite well. The first image is a closeup of the PGBK pattern. The second shows the pattern for all colors and illustrates the effect on some text (at the bottom).
If I print a Windows Printer Test page, then the effect I see is a repeating pattern of 5 lines of text. One line prints right, 3 equally "blurry" and the other one darker.
The blurriness looks like it's printing each character multiple times but not quite lined up horizontally.
Any suggestions as to what might be causing this and on how to fix would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Jules
