I have 2 customers - one has an ip 1600, the other has an ip 2200. The fellow with the ip 2200 just got his error after printing (he claims) around 1500 pages...mostly text.
I find it hard to believe that this has happened so soon, unless Canon's planned obsolescence time is getting shorter and shorter.So....
I have 2 questions. If this happened in less that the 1-yr warranty, is he still under warranty and does Canon owe him an exchange for a new printer?
Also, I spoke to a Canon repair person, and he told me there is no waste ink reset for these new models? Is it true??? If there is one for the newer Canon models. would anyone know what the reset procedures are???
