they want combine it with Win 8 to get Win 10, so they want get rid of 7.

I don’t think it will bother me to much by then, in fact I’d even welcome it if I’m not using the cloud system by then, Celestial Stars, Harps and the like..

I'm happy with Win 8.1, and it seems WIN 10 will be a free upgrade.
Windows is the last OS you have to pay for.

I think the subject of this thread is getting a little confused. The heavenly bit should be in "Just a thought-". The Hat's 1000 likes deserves it's own thread.

Would not worry, XP was supposed to have died years ago and support only ended this year. Most people (BE you a fan or not) do not use Windows 8, if that doesnt change come 2020 i doubt win 7 support will even stop then. Original support kill off dates did not happen for win 98 or 2000, or XP. I doubt Win 7 will either just scaremongering to make you upgrade to Windows 8.

As for New computers not really news as MS have always wanted OEMs to include their latest Os.
