I understand that the Wic Reset now has an ink charge option that provides more powerful cleaning. (I'd be using it on the R3000.)
1. Does this exercise the Pk/Mk switch by default? If it charges using all nine cartridges, at some point it must.
2. If so, is there any way to prevent that, and have only the black ink that is selected - e.g., Pk - used? (The switch is almost certainly frozen, so exercising it will break it)
3. Does using the ink charge require that the printer be connected by USB, as the reset option does?
The on-line guides for the utility don't seem to go into this level of detail.
