i need a new printer.... today my "old" epson r200 going dead

I must choose between Epson px720fw (american name artisan 725)
and canon Mg6150 (american name MG6120)

my choice is based on your answers here some questions!


which printer has the greater availability of compatible inks? (bottled) for epson i saw MIS Inktec Ocp Barock Jettec Image Specialist ecc......

for Canon? :/

Waste inkpad..... in my epson r200 i open the rear of the printer and cleaning ink is deposited outside

Waste inkpad alert.... in epson r200 i can reset the printer by program "ssc service" now now there's a new program called "WIC"

which is the best for A4 photo? epson have light cyan and light magenta, canon have a pigment black for text and black dye and grey dye for bw photo....

You can reset the waste ink tank count of Canon printers. You can find instruction for many Canons that may be applicable to mg6120.

If you use the printer normally you should almost never need to worry about the waste ink tank getting full. Only if you keep doing cleaning cycles will it get filled up faster then it should. When people refill with bad ink that's when they keep doing cleaning cycles. The waste ink tank will be filled up quickly as a result. Epson printers dump a lot of ink to prime the print head. It causes the waste ink tank of Epson printers filled up very quickly.
