What the heck is it with the forumn editor?

I think it is far easier to use than some forums the buttons for "quote", "like", "reply" are all in a sensible place and the reply box could not be much clearer with regard to things like bold, italics etc. I see no reason to alter it unless the OP can physically show (like to site or picture) of a forum that does things better.
