I've been using forumn editors since 1986, and this editor reminds me of such an old editor.
Why can't you get obtain a good, free, fourm software?
I can think of several peices of SW that have better UI's than what I now see on your site.
Yes, I'm just ranting because I abhor your editor.
I'd offer to re-factor the site; but I don"t really have the expertise to do so.
Please, please think about re-doing your site.
I'll send you some cash if that will help.
Of course, with all the people using and looking at your site, you may be able to start a "please give me money/social network crowd sourcing" and thus enhance your site.

Hi @lowell374 , thanks for the post.

No cash needed... we just need more details, for example:
  1. What are you experiencing... specifically, that you don't like. What steps are you taking and what is happening and not happening that you don't like? Be as specific as possible with clear examples
  2. What browser and version are you using? Have you tried a different and updated browser?
  3. Which editors do you like? The one we use, Redactor, is one of the web's most popular, current, and feature-rich text editors.

thanks for the reply. Just having a bad day. However, my Firefox browser is V 40. Guess I'm just too old, 80 years, for this stuff; although I've been using browsers/editors on the web for 29 years. Sorry for the rant.
guess I'll just have to look at the "Redactor" users manual.
Do you have a URL to such?

Hmm... they may have a manual on their site?

On my other forums I have some 90 year old technically challenged women that are using the editors without a problem, so maybe there's something else going on that's causing your experience to be less that ideal?

Again, what is it you're trying to do and unable to accomplish. Editing text? Posting pictures? Formatting text?

Many of us are 80 years old and that is no justification for ranting and inflicting your bad mood on everyone else.

Yes I was a bit surprised by the rant too, I taught it was inappropriate and should have been aired offline in a PM or Report. !
I’m not quite 80 yet and don’t reckon I’ll make it that far..:old

the forum software - o.k., it's not particularly exciting, but doing the job, I can get my opinion out if I want to, so for me it's a no-subject.
