Hi everyone.

I just bought a Canon Pixma G3260. I just noticed I can’t find the inks here in my country, they’re GI-21 PGBK.

The ones I can find are the GI-10 PGBK bottles, so I want to know if there’s any problem if I use them instead of the GI-21 PGBK.

Thanks in advantage.

Canon has divided the World into 8 regions, and products like printers, cartridges and inks are named differently in different regions. Not all products are available in all regions.

If you imported the printer from another region, then the ink might not be available in your region/country or named differently. I attach a list of Canon regions.

Oh I understand, I really appreciate it, that clears all my doubts.
Yes, I imported the printer from the USA (that’s why it uses 20 cartridges then), and I live in Costa Rica where I can only find 10 cartridges.
So, I assume that the type of ink is the same, and it’s safe to use GI-10 on this printer that requires GI-21 (just a little bit different bottle).
