upgrade from cli-8 to cli-226 checklist?

Hi...just bought an MG6120 to replace my dead MP610.

From reading threads, the best way to refill is to get OEM cli-221/pgi-220, and swap the chips over.

Did I miss anything? I also believe a resetter is now out on th emarket for these cartridges, but I will do a little more digging.

Thanks for any confirmation on this.

The swap method is best if you like it best. This is the beauty of refilling - there is rarely a 'one size fits all' way of doing things.

There are resetters available for the 225/226 cartridges.
