I used to refill original Epson cartridges, "modified" to let ink into the cart (method by jtoolman)

Recently I wanted to tryout a set of empty refillable Cartridges. These have a "transmission chip" on each cart, under which you have to put the original Epson chip. So the transmission chip will auto-reset the Epson chip.

While I was refilling these epson cartridges,
I mixed up two chips, one for MK and one for PK.

Now I am unable to say wich chip is for which color cart...!!!

Because the numbers on the chips seem to have NO RULE OR LOGIC.

How can you identify original Epson chips which have been taken from Epson carts for the 3880?

Here you see an empty refillable cartridge with transponder chip in slider, ready to mount on the cart. The original chip sits already in its place (under the transponder)

My 3880 original cartridges with chips are:

(epson name / color of ink / signification on chip)
t5802 / C / 2185
T580A / VM / 2140
T5804 / Y /
T5805 / LC / 2206, 2259
T580B / VLM /
T5807 / LK / 2286, 2171
T5807 / LLK / 2160, 2287

... the signification on the chips seem to be totally random to me...

And these are the two "motherless" chips
which I have taken off the two carts without writing down which is for which cartridge.

- T5808 / PK / 2103 OR 2117 ?
- T5801 / MK / 2103 OR 2117

Anybody who can help?
