Hi Nelson! Is there any chance you know who is in charge for this forum? Someone I could send a complaint?
I just saw that Knut had made a new account here and when I opened the thread here all of his messages were deleted and his account seemingly banned again. I really hate this practice here.
I thought this forum is made for the printing community so members can support each other. Knut has dedicated the most of his free time for the last few month to this project here. A project that we spend a lot of time and money on so others can benefit from it for free.
And the moment he makes a post here to ask a question with the intent to improve this project (again: free for everyone, but costing his precious time) he gets banned. And this is not the first time this happens. Other users experienced this as well and Knut now experienced it the second time. This is really frustrating and I would like to express this frustration to someone in charge here.
 
Hi Sebastian,

I have send a message to @Nifty in order to deblock his account. You might send him a message too.

I find it very strange his account is postponed and blocked, despite not being a AI bot.

Thanks a lot for this! I find it really strange that this seems to happen quite often. Arno had the same issue and another user who commented under one of my videos on YouTube as well. On the other forum I was affected myself. I really don’t understand what the conditions are so you don’t get banned.

Yes I know you were banned from dpreview.com as well and I believe Keith Cooper has to use his influence for to ask someone of the staff members/forum moderators to deblock you. I did a second request to @PK Project Manager who is staff member/moderator as well.
 
Hi everyone! I’m sorry Knut was blocked again and that his ChromIQ posts disappeared.

We've (and all forums) have been getting hammered with spam, bots, etc. It's been an intense game of cat-mouse and whack-a-mole rolled into one! Unfortunately, sometimes when we're trying to keep out the bad stuff, some of the good stuff gets blocked.

I reviewed what happened: a spam-cleaner action removed them and banned his account. I’ve tweaked the system to try and prevent this in the future and restored access to Knut’s account.

I tried the forum’s restore function, but it did not bring back the deleted posts. I know that’s frustrating, especially given the time Knut, and others have put into this topic. Knut, you’re welcome to rejoin the discussion and repost if you’re willing.

Please let me know if you have any trouble signing in or posting.

Thanks a lot for your quick help here. For the time I have been around here a few users have been affected by this. I really hope with those tweaks things will be better now!
 
@itsab1989 and @know I hope Knut can post again. .... unfortunately the computer said NO 🙂‍↔️.... hopefully it will say yes 🙂‍↕️ now. Again many thanks to @Nifty Rob to unlock and restore Knut's account 👍

Just a request from a satisfied but only semi-technically-literate user-- simplifying the drop-down list of presets sounds like a good idea, but I do find pharmacist's charts with grayscale emphasis a quick and easy way to get excellent results. Maybe 1- and 3-page options (letter-sized) for the i1Pro optimized for b&w?
