Is the converter USB 2.0 to USB-C converter of good quality ?
I'm suspecting the USB (8in1 converter) could have power problems, i found a lot of topics about calibration failed for USB laptop with no enough power, someone suggest to use an usb powered hub, maybe i have one of this in my office to try.

May I ask what you are doing to have a reason to own 2 of those devices? I mean this out of pure interest because I can’t even really justify owning a ColorMunki for what I do (well now with the coding stuff I can).
because the second one i bought was very cheap (30 euros) because the seller could't try it to know if it was working, so i bought like a thing to repair or to use to repair another

Well at this price it really is a no-brainer.

By the way since I recently added a beta section to the apps setting to have a spot for my colprof replacement (don’t activate it as its only purpose was building profiles for cmy+n devices - although the maximum accuracy flavor might be something to try for rgb printers as well) I figured that I could do the same thing for chartread. This will make it in a „stable“ release of ChromIQ (as stable as you would consider the whole app) but will be clearly labeled as beta. With it turned off everything remains the way it is now but turning it on should hopefully give some improvements. However this will need to be tested. I decided to do this because until tomorrow I still have access to the better Claude fable models which hopefully give better results for this.
I will be going to cinema with my daughter in a few minutes and I hope that when I come back there will be results.

Meanwhile you can have a look at this (in the end there should be an easy to understand explaination of what this implementation should offer) and maybe a beta is ready today:
