Can you tell where the logfiles are stored in ChromeIQ ? I want to upload the files so you can have a look at what is going wrong and maybe I can see myself what is going on.

~/Library/Logs/ChromIQ/chromiq.log on macOS

%LOCALAPPDATA%\ChromIQ\Logs\ on Windows

Edit: a fix for the build profile section is on the way. Please try. I hope this fixes existing data as well but should at least fix it for the future.
No idea about the missing highlighter though. This one needs the log files at least.

Have you seen the video about my iSis implementation idea? It’s in the latest builds as well. Would be interested in your thoughts.

@itsab1989 I see a lot of talk about the preconditioning profiles in this thread. In my ultra simple wsprofiler GUI, I came up with a method of building a second set of optimisation patches. This is way different than preconditioning.

Preconditioning helps you build a set of patches that are a bit more relevant to what your printer can do but even if you combine measurements from the original and second profile, there is going to be a lot of overlap in your measurements.

My two step process evaluates thousands of patches candidates to see where your initial profile needs improvements and then generates a second set of refinement patches (not quite how colormunki does it but close). The final profile includes the initial patches and the refinement patches.

Is this two step process something you'd be interested in looking at? You've built a much nicer GUI than I have to the point I'm not sure I want to spend anymore time on mine

If I remember correctly I had replied to your thread because this process sounded interesting to me. But although I came pretty far with my app I have limited knowledge on the profiling process itself and so I need help from people like you, pharmacist and Alan for example. I would really like to implement what you have created. I just don't know how it works and therefore how I would fit it in.

And as you see I still have a lot of bugfixing to do.

@pharmacist :
have you updated the app to the latest version? I see that the pre-conditioning profile still has ".icm" at the end what was the cause of your other issue before (at least if Claude is right about this).

I tried on my windows vm with the latest update. It also adds another pre_ to the file but it works....

Edit:
@crenedecotret I would not have thought that so many people are into this pre-conditioning process. I added this more or less as an afterthought :D

@pharmacist - the extra 'pre-' is added so that the preconditioning profile is not overwritten when you create the final profile..

I have to retry my Colormunki method again: the profile looks horrible and I think this is causing my problem. One moment....
