But maybe the HP brand will attract more customers, as it is well-known? If I were to buy such a printer, I would prefer the HP, which also seems less expensive.

Personally I don't need this machine - but the printhead technology is interesting...

Neither do I, my default printer is a Pixma 5200 that perfectly fits my needs. But I agree, the new printhead technology is interesting.

I also agree that this technology is interesting but has anyone noticed that
all of the paper coming out of the HP printer in this demonstration is blank..

The Hat Too right perhaps they did not want to pay for the ink. Note paper going all over the floor, wonder whether there will be any ink smudging at so fast an output. Still very interesting though.
