On the Internet, I find some ink cartridges, for example, Epson T544, share the same models between refilled cartridges and compatible cartridges. Can anybody tell me what the difference between them?

Many thanks!!!

I'm not sure you if you meant refillable cartridges? Refillable cartridges are ones that can be refilled over and over again since the chip auto-resets at a certain level. Also, it gives you the ease of refilling the cartridge just by pulling out a plug and putting it back once your done. Compatible cartridges are usually a one time deal cartridge. I mean both the refillable and the one time use cartridge are compatibles, but when a cartridge on the internet gets advertised as compatible without the word refillable in it, its a one time cartridge. Hope that clears things up for you.
