I had never noticed any of it going on.
You wouldn’t unless you have a laser printer and an inquisitive mind.. ;)
An unknown, could be in there copying all the company secrets and it can lead back to their laser printer.. Ops..🤓

Those tracking dots are printed with laser printers, there are other tricks going on with inkjet printers - when you install an Epson driver you are asked whether you want to participate in a customer satisfaction program , and you activate a script that the driver transmits usage data back home, or you participate at those automatic ink replenishment programs by HP or Epson - you agree to a monthly printed volume and HP/Epson send you the inks as needed - automatically - before run out - all by recording your usage pattern. It's all online - you register online - your printer needs to stay online.
