I got this large clump of wild flowers growing in a corner of the garden yesterday, they just popped up in a day or two and I didn’t have the heart to run the mower over them, I reckon they are some kind of Mini Orchid, but don’t quite me on that..

The weather is playing funny buggers in the garden..

That's pretty cool. I would not be able to mow them down either. If, up close, the flowers look like the attached image, they are Germander Speedwell, and one tell is that one of the four petals is smaller.

My green fingered other half also identified it as speedwell. Looks more like Slender Speedwell (Veronica filiformis) to me.

Advice on should it go or should it stay here.

A few from our garden yesterday. Straight out of the phone. The table is some of the seeds she planted this year.

Great suggestion, but sadly there are no 3D printers on that site.. :th

Ah, a missed opportunity for sure! Imagine printing custom self-watering planters or seed-spacing grids. Tracking those projects—and the inevitable spaghetti-print fails—would be awesome.

Honestly, the only thing missing from the forum now is a resident expert... which is why we’ve already reserved the username 'The Straw Hat' for you. Your throne of mulch awaits!

Now why on earth would you want me to join that thriving community you have over there… https://www.theeasygarden.com/

Gardener I am not, once upon a time in days gone by maybe, but now I’ve got enough on my plate just keeping the grass below knee height..

I had a keen interest in what’s growing and what’s struggling, but haven’t added any plants to the garden in over 20 years, my only interest now is shrubs because they are (Hardier) and easier to look after..

I once grew Venus fly traps, Bananas and Oranges, but the weather eventually got the better of them despite my best efforts, now I’m reduced to just apples and pears.

Flowers are things that grow in the margins here, away from the path of my demolition dog (Ted), who flattens everything, he's only got respect for plants he can sleep under, others he just digs them up..

@Support I will have to decline your generous offer and new User Name, so thank you anyway..
You can stick the Straw Hat on the scarecrow, it probably fits better..:lol:Untitled-2.jpg
