Service manuals for Canon printers?

Hey guys!

I'm a home user with a broken printer, looking at my options for repairing. If I decide to try and repair it myself, is there any chance I can get a copy of a service manual? Where do people get these? It's a Pixma TS8350.

Also, what is the Canon service tool? What is it used for? I see some discussions about it.

IIRC, Canon stopped making service manuals for some printer models a while back. Google search yields no results for that printer.

I suggest you post the exact error message/symptom and people here can try to help. If necessary, photos of the problem area might be a good idea.
