I am an avid photographer and love photographing in Rocky Mountain National Park. I print some of my work and just purchased the Epson P900 printer. I would love to know the best protocol to use for P900 maintenance. I would like to keep my printer happy for years to come... Thanks

Hi Veronika,

welcome: I suggest not to print borderless unless really necessary. The overspray sponge cannot be replaced unless serviced by Epson, unlike the older P800 where the overspray sponge works with a slight slope so overspray ink drips through the sponge material in the cavity beneath and dripping downwards into the central sponge cavity of the waste ink tank on the right, which is much better design. The more advanced P5300 has a user replaceable overspray sponge cartridge, unlike the P900 where you only have the waste ink tank and the overspray sponge is inside the printer itself and part of it.
