Take a look at the images below. I picked up a used Samsung CLP-680 with low use. Monochrome and color output are excellent, but I get regular magenta and cyan marks on every print. I suspect these are due to some sort of defect in the aftermarket magenta and cyan carts carts. (The black and yellow carts are Samsung brand while the magenta and cyan carts are True Image and LD Products, respectively.) I cleaned both carts' rollers with alcohol with no change to the print defects.

The simplest remedy is to purchase new carts. Before I do that expensive thing I figured I'd post to here. Maybe someone has had this issue before and can recommend a potential fix?

Probably damage on the xfer rollers in both the magenta and cyan carts.

Remove the cyan cart. Turn the thing so the roller faces up. Slowly twist the roller gear and inspect the roller lengthwise as it turns. I bet you find some sort of damage to or debris embedded in the soft xfer roller.

Regardless of what, if anything, you discover this issue cannot be repaired. You must replace both carts.
