I have read thru durchstich method etc. , but here is my experience.

I used a calidad ink refill kit (purchased in Australia)
to refill my carts the first time.
This has tools for filler stopper ball removal and excellent plugs for fill holes, as well as plastic bottles with attached needles.

The next time I purchased ink in bulk, in Aust. but made in usa (500ml) from inkpro on ebay

I put on a plastic glove and blocked the outlet with my thumb, and reused the plastic bottles with attached needles to refill, putting rubber plug back in fill hole after filling.
I find this quick and easy, the plugs don't leak, and you don't disturb the foam or whatever in the cart.

I have a canon ip3300 and mp240
