Refilling pg-510/512 for the canon mp270

At the risk of sounding like a n00b :/ but i've put many google'ing hours into this but is there a way to refill the canon pg-510 of canon pg-512 cartrigdes?

Because i've read that there is no way to reset the chip.
There was 1 site that stated that the solution was to disable the ink monitoring software.

Hi. i also want to know if there is a solution to reset the ink levels on canon pixma mp270. i searched everywhere but couldnt find anything. older reset solutions doesnt work for mp270.

i now there is a way to reset it. but dont know how to do it yet

A question though, i've read you have used the program, but have you succesfully tested a refilled cartrigde in the printer?

And do you still have to disable the ink monitoring?

i couldn't test it with refilled cartridges, because my original cartridges are not empty yet. when they are empty, i will try to reset ink levels. for now, i could only reset the eeprom. if you have a refilled cartridge try to reset it with the program.
